Business Content
In the Content area of the editor there are options for managing various business resources. These options provide essential tools and information such as Business Info, Business Text, Business Images, and a Find and Replace option. These resources are designed to streamline the process of adding and managing content on your site, though their use is optional.
These resources can also be used for Dynamic Business Content. For detailed information, see Dynamic Content: Business Info, Text, and Images.
Business Info
The Business Info area is where the core of the businesses information is stored, for instance the business name, type, address, and phone number. The button to sync with a Google Business Profile can be found here as well.
Add or Edit Information
To add or edit information:
-
In the side panel, click CMS.
-
Click Business Info.
The following fields are available:
-
Business name.
-
Business type (if enabled, will be used for Local Business Schema).
-
Business logo.
-
Address (additional locations can be added, see the section in this article Add Additional Locations).
-
Location name.
-
Location address. The address needs to be selected from the list that populates.
-
Hide location. If your business does not have a physical storefront, enable the My business doesn’t have a physical store front toggle. Note that this hides the location's street address, postal code, and geo coordinates only in the site’s schema.
-
-
Area Served. Enter the city, county, state, or region that you offer services in, using the check boxes to select multiple areas (maximum of 20 service areas). This is relevant for businesses that provide products or services at a customer’s location, either instead of, or in addition to, a physical storefront. For example, a customer visits a flooring store to pick out new carpet, and an employee later installs it in the customer’s home.
- If your business has multiple physical locations, you can only add up to 20 service areas for the primary location. This is because you can only create schema for the primary location in Website Builder.
-
Phone Number.
-
Email.
-
Social Icons. To add social accounts, click on the desired social's icon. The social's site is already populated by default, on the unique account identifier will need to be typed or pasted in. For example with Facebook, if the account's URL is www.facebook.com/mybusiness, only mybusiness needs to be entered into the field.
Note there is a 200 character limit for this field. If your link is over this limit, try removing parameters to shorten it.
-
Business Hours.
-

For details on Connected Data, see Dynamic Content: Business Info, Text, and Images.
The About Us field can also be used for Local Business Schema. For detailed information, see Schema Markup.

For details on Connected Data, see Dynamic Content: Business Info, Text, and Images.
Note that all images uploaded to business images (not just business images used on the canvas) appear in the alt text manager.
